Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation
Division, commonly known as IMED, is the central and apex
organization of the Government of the People’s Republic
of Bangladesh for monitoring and evaluation of the public
sector development projects included in the Annual Development
Program (ADP). As per ‘Allocation of Business among
the Different Ministries/Divisions’, the IMED also deals
with the matters relating to Central Procurement Technical
Unit (CPTU) and The Public Procurement Regulations, 2003.
The CPTU of IMED acts as a central organ of the government
for policy formulation, coordination, monitoring and improvement
of the public procurement process in Bangladesh.
